Liverpool are set to sign Chelsea midfielder Isaac Christie-Davies on a free transfer after he was discharged by the Londoners, sources near the Anfield club have revealed.

Christie-Davies, 20, was not offered another arrangement by Chelsea, with his ebb and flow terms lapsing in the summer, and a few clubs have been checking his circumstance.

Liverpool took Christie-Davies on trial in March and it shows up he has done what’s necessary to win a move to Anfield.

He joined Chelsea’s academy from Brighton and advanced from the youth positions to the under-23s, winning the FA Youth Cup in 2015 and 2016 and the UEFA Youth League in 2016.

Christie-Davies is probably going to interface up with Liverpool’s under-23s next season, following previous Chelsea partner Dominic Solanke in leaving Stamford Bridge for Merseyside.
